NOC Online Forum
Native Orchid Conference, Inc. has an active online forum on Yahoo groups. The forum is moderated. Those wishing to post messages and make full use of the forum must apply online to the moderator for membership. Membership in the forum is free. You do not need to be a member to read post on the message board. In addition to the lively and informative discussions on the message board, the forum has many member supplied photos, past conference brochures, orchid check list and other resources

The purpose of our forum is to foster the study, conservation, and enjoyment of the native orchids of the United States and Canada. We request that you restrict your messages to discussions about or requests for information on North American native orchids and restrain from using the site for commercial purposes.
In addition to managing the free forum, our group has created a formal, non-profit [501(c)3] organization that is incorporated in North Carolina. We started a quarterly Journal in January of 2004 and have held several annual orchid conferences in different areas of North America over the past 6 years.
In the Files section of the forum is a folder labeled Organizational Information where our By-Laws and a membership application form for the group are available. Another folder in the Files section labeled Past Conference Flyer has programs and promotional brochures from our prior conferences. Some pictures taken during the 2003 Canadian conference and the 2004 Carolinas conferences can be seen in the Photos section.
The Files, Photos, Links, and Database areas of the forum are used to share information with the membership, and you ought to explore them periodically for new additions. Our latest is an orchid foto flora (work in progress) that can be reached through the "Related Link" towards the bottom of this page.
